1989: Inception
          Christy Friedgram Industry[CFI] is the flagship company of Christy Group and was established for manufacturing Friedgram (Puffed Chickpea) for institutional supply as well as retail market.

1991: First breakthrough
          Received the first opportunity to partner with the Government’s social welfare scheme, for manufacture and supply of supplementary nutritional food to children with a production capacity of 15MT per day.

1991-2001: Infrastructure/ manpower augmentation to meet increase in demand
          Production capacity increased manifold and CFI becomes the preferred manufacturer for supplementary and weaning food for the beneficiaries of the government schemes in the states of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

2002: Christy Polymers- born out of sheer need
          Self sufficiency was on the cards as the demand for packing material from Christy Friedgram Industry was rising exponentially. Christy Polymers was set up primarily to cater to increasing captive consumption

2004: Exploring opportunities in the textile segment
          Sensing immense potential and opportunity in the textile sector Christy Textiles at Tiruchengode was established.

2006: Another need for self sufficiency in infrastructure development
          Christy Blue Metals was set up to coordinate in the supply of materials required for construction both for the open market and in-house requirements.

2008: Open market foray through Christy Quality Foods
          As a manufacturer of quality supplementary nutritional foods, the time was ripe to enter the open market to take the benefits to other groups of the population who fall out of the bracket of the government beneficiaries. Christy Quality Foods was established with this goal. A broad portfolio of products like Whole-wheat atta, Bengal gram flour, Ragi flour, Sooji, Bajji-Bonda mix etc., were introduced in the retail market.

2008: Our first association with a MNC
          Our impressive facility, environmental hygiene and upkeep and overall competency bagged us our first contract manufacturing deal from the global leader PepsiCo in 2008.

2009: Sindhu Foam
          Adding another feather to our already feathered organization, Sindhu Foam is into manufacturing foam products with multiple applications.
